CAUTION This is a public service announcement from one longbox collector to many others. DO NOT buy longboxes on eBay from this seller. He has been re-sealing opened longboxes and selling them as new….(and for crazy high prices, at that). Now, not ALL of his boxes are resealed. He peppers some real ones in there to throw off the buyers… but 80% of them are resealed. This is coming from someone who has worked music retail in one form or another for the last 35 years. More details: How are you sure they're reseals? I see at least some that look real, with price and hype stickers on them. Is he faking those, too (which is pro level deception). Or just using a sealing machine on previously opened boxes?

Some of them ARE real. But he peels price tags and hype stickers off of cellophane and reapplies them on the new seal. He’s actually screwed up doing this and out Warner bros super saver stickers on Sony product and vice versa in some cases. Look closely a lot of the hypes and price tags have peeled up corners and tiny tips and tears.
Ah...for the good old days when you could see who bought what and email them to let them know they'd been conned!
Just got concrete proof from a Facebook longbox collector page. A member sold him empty longboxes tgat are now mysteriously sealed and up for sale.
