This one is a WWII movie about a submarine which manages to infiltrate a harbor in Japan,. and about 6 or 8 members of the crew manage to also destroy a train by dynamiting a bridge.

That's a darn good movie, but not the one I was thinking about, Seems that the USS Barb (SS-220) was the sub which performed the deed, and this movie apparently involved the Barb, but I can't seem to find the exact movie. Thanks for the reply, but I'm still on the hunt for the exact movie.

ANY OTHER THOUGHTS WILL BE MOSY WELCOME !

Sounds interesting and somewhat familiar. (I may have Destination Tokyo in the back of my mind). I would like to see it :).
Is it on this list? Submarine films - Wikipedia

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be the one I'm looking for, but thanks for the replies to the last several replies,

One outstanding movie that I've seen quite a few times, but unfortunately not the one I'm after.

I still haven't given up on this WW2 Submarine movie, so please keep it in mind.

There's another one I'm looking for.

It's sort of a medical horror movie from the 1970s, with possibly Jacqueline Bisset, where patients are being killed by toxic gases from cannisters in the basement of the hospital. It ends up with a lot of running around on ladders and that sort of thing. Any guesses ??

Definitely sounds like Coma - which is an underrated classic.
