"Los Espookys" (HBO)- not bad!

Cute premise;
Four kids make 'horror movie' special effects for fun, and wind up being hired for parties, and other things.
I can see this going places!
PLUS, the theme song reminds me of "The Metro" by Berlin!

i really, really enjoyed episode 1. armisen's shows run hot and cold with me (more times cold...) but this was an example of him "nailin' it" in my mind. it feels like some of his best work on SNL. excited for the rest.

I finally watched the first episode last night. Yes, it's silly a la Armisen's other efforts, but it's unique and cute. I like the characters a lot!

 

"Why are you speaking with that weird accent?"
"She just got back from Minnesota. She didn't learn English, either."

 

eh, i feel like it's kind of getting aimless 4 episodes in. it's still funny, but nothing much is actually happening.

 

Boy, this show is TRULY 'silly/stupid'......
Just the thing I NEED, in this day and age!
I'd love to see a t-shirt (you know, this kind they used to make that just had band-member names, or characters from famous movies' names in big white letters) that says:
Renaldo,
Ursula,
Andres,
&
Tati
