Watching the re-runs on Sci-Fi: NOW, I'm thinking, 'They gotta bring Walt back, in a BIG WAY!' They're showing the episode when HE tells Locke, "Don't open the hatch!" I forgot how 'special' everyone said he was.....

I figured that a big motivation for the three year time jump was so that they could reintroduce Walt -- whose character seemed as if it was going to be important in the show's early seasons -- without the problem of his having so obviously aged... but they haven't done it yet, beyond a cameo or two.

    Walt has powers.

And what about all those other kids?

You know, with the resent rash of deaths, I thought to myself, "How anybody can die without seeing the last season of "LOST" is BEYOND ME!

I've been watching the re-runs as well. It's crazy all the stuff you see!

One thing that caught me off guard: In the flashback to where Desmond was back in Scotland and was studying to become a monk. The head monk guy was sitting at his desk with Desmond sitting across from him. On his desk was a photo of the head monk posing with Eloise Hawking.

YES! Plus, now.. I'm surprised at how things I thought took two or more episodes to do, only happened in ONE! I guess the 'flash-backs' that come later gave me the impression that things took longer to happen.

I've been re-watching Season 1 and paying close attention to Locke. I have a feeling the "other Locke" has been meddling in things for some time now. :shh:

About 3 months ago, I joined netflix and rented seasons 1-4 on dvd. Season 5 I watched online.
It took me 3 months to get caught up.
    What a cool show.
My guess is Jacob is not dead and the bomb causes all of those people to go through time to the current date. There's no way they'd all be dead.

P.s. Someone made a good joke....when will Vincent have a flashback story.

Well, there IS the two minute "mobisode", "So It Begins", which is largely shown from Vincent's POV:

I clicked on it... I figure they will give us the Comicon panel audio in the summer podcast anyway, so this info will be out there and hard to avoid. :)

    Good news to me though!

    Ever notice how many
    guys on the island are
    totally clean shaven
at all times ? and the
    gals never seem to have
    even slight pit hair ?
    somone must have brought
a very large stash of shaving
    razors !

Didn't you know? One of the Island's magical properties is that it inhibits hair growth and weight loss/gain. ;)

They probably have PLENTY of razors from the Dharma drops. :D

I suppose we should probably start a Season 6 thread soon, eh?

Some of the characters did gradually get hairier over time, particularly Sawyer. Jack's buzz cut held fast for a long time but by the time he left the island it was starting to look longer.

What's funny is when they cut to the characters' lives off of the island and they still have their island stubble. A lot of Jack's scenes were like this.
