Yeah I think it all evens out. But I was kind of surprised Endless Summer for $50!

But that's how it goes Bill. My Endless Summer was $75.00, and this morning I woke up to check on an auction that ended way too late to stay up for...I had put my modest limit of under $60.00 in, and went to bed with the attitude of " if I get it, great, if I don't, I've had enough great deals to say it's all evened out."
Turns out I'm the proud owner of an MFSL Cream "Goodbye" for only 40 beans !!!

Going by the past that is kind of expensive for that CD Mike. But if you were willing to pay $60 I guess you got a good deal. I am not up with prices in a while though so maybe it went up.

Only paid $40.00 though. That's all that matters to me...living in the present. Also the eye of the beholder. This is Cream, whereas I wouldn't take a Rush recording if it were given to me. Personal tastes.

Just to rub it in a little Mike. I got Wheels of Fire, Disraeli, Goodbye, Fresh and Live Vol 1 and 2. DCC and MFSL discs all off the same seller. No one bid on them so I got them for a princely sum of about $80.

About $11.43 per disc...sweet, and it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

If the price you are willing to pay is not high enough then sniping does not help, however you mentioned "bidding wars". Sniping eliminates that aspect. Why tip your hand early? :)

Just got your Steely Dan Gold Discs. There wasn't a mark on them. Thanks.
I would bid for more, but it means getting up at three o'clock in the morning to stick in the final bid.

I am so glad we got it all sorted out with you bidding. You could always put in a bid and just hope you don't get outbid, that is what I ususally do anyhow when I bid.

Thanks for the nice feedback too man. :righton:

That Al Stewart MFSL disc is great, it would be sold if I did not already own it.

Thanks, I actually paid $150 for it when I bought it but looks like I will take a small loss on it :) I won't sell it for a big loss

Not sure if anyone is interested but I did list a bunch of Blu-Rays from my collection. Most of them were played once and put back on the shelf.

    Over and out!
