I'm trying to use Lplex and I keep getting this error message *ERR: header of "track 1.wav' is non-canonical. *ERR: No valid audio to process. Info: Valid audio is either wave or flac lpcm Can someone give me advice on how to get this program to work. thanks
make sure your files are at 48 or 96 kHz sampling rate (either 16 or 24 bit is fine). You may need to rename your files as well: to get them in the right order on the disc, you need to number them (01, 02, 03, etc.). You may also need to get rid of some symbols (e.g., <, >, ?, /, #, etc.) from the track titles.
well, if changing the track names as I suggested doesn't work, I'd try deleting and reinstalling Lplex. I and many others have been using it successfully for quite a while, but unusually formatted song titles have given me trouble in the past.
I'm going to be playing with this one myself on my XP machine and my Win7 machine in XP mode the readme here is a useful primer
I seem to recall doing a WAV to FLAC to WAV cycle before I was able to create my Band on the Run DVD-A with lplex.
As far as playback of these DVD-V discs is concerned, in order to retain the full 96/24 fidelity, do I need to use the analog outputs of myDVD player? I'm currently using optical S/PDIF between my DVD player and receiver, but I'm not sure if either the S/PDIF spec or my hardware supports uncompressed audio (as opposed to Dolby or DTS) at 96/24.
