Lynn just died a few days ago and her death went under the radar originally, finally being reported to the press:

The Chordettes were one of THE great vocal groups of the 50s and their classics will always be remembered.

I have fond memories of this one. My aunt had the Cadence 45, and I used to play it over and over again as a young lad.

    RIP Lynn.

Whoa, just read the obit and learned that Lynn was born in my hometown and attended the high school I would have gone to if I hadn't moved after 7th grade.

Did not know this till just now.

ETA: And she'll be buried at the cemetery just down the road from where my grandparents lived in Niles, Ohio.

Sorry, just enjoying the hometown connections here!

Just learned myself, they did a radio special last night here about how great The Chordettes were and
talked about Archie Blyer and what a genius he was to their sound.
I love this simple and 'clicky' tune.
