    We move back to the first year in this series. I can't really go back further with any kind of authority. Although I know some songs from before this period of time, I am certainly not fluid enough to start making compilations on those. Perhaps someone with more knowledge of the time can take up the reigns, in spite of a somewhat limited interest in this.

    There's more R&R than I realized in 1955. But add some of those solid country and blues hits, and there's quite a good compilation there.
