Please don't make "greatest hits" of your personal favourites. Trying to make an "album" that sounded coherent, forming a unified whole, although it combines different acts with a variety of styles or subgenres within one genre. You can choose any genre.

Make an "album" of 10 to 20 songs at most. Make a "Volume Two" or more if you like, but each "Volume" should not contain more than 20 songs.

Here is my "album" of progressive music. Actually, "Volume One" and "Volume Two". I provided hyperlinks due to songs by some lesser-known acts, but of course it's not requested.

    Volume One

King Crimson (1970) Princ Rupert Awakes
    Solaris (1995, instrumental) Solaris
    Yes (1977) Wonderous Stories
    Patrick Moraz (1976) Intermezzo
Hatfield and the North (1975, instrumental) The Yes No Interlude
    Island (1977) Pictures
    Gentle Giant (1975) On Reflection
    Gong (1976, instrumental) Mandrake
Allan Holdsworth (1976, instrumental) Floppy Hat
Anthony Phillips (1977) Which Way the Wind Blows
Return to Forever feat. Chick Corea (1974, instrumental) Where Have I Known You Before
Chick Corea (1977, instrumental) The Woods
    Steve Hackett (1978) Icarus Ascending
Jon Anderson (1976) Flight of the Moorglade
    Vangelis (1980) See You Later
Pink Floyd (1975) Welcome to the Machine
Kayak (1973) See See the Sun
Rick Wakeman (1973, instrumental) Catherine of Aragon
Chris Squire (1975) Hold Out Your Hand
    Genesis (1976) Los Endos

    Volume Two

    Family (1969) Weavers Answer
Genesis (1971) The Fountain of Salmacis
    The Nice (1967, instrumental) America
Emerson, Lake & Palmer (1973) "Still...You Turn Me On"
Keith Emerson (2002, instrumental) The Dreamer
Korni Grupa (1974, instrumental) Temporary Parting
    Camel (1975, instrumental) Rhayader
    England (1977) Poisoned Youth
    Hawkwind (1983) Zones
    Steve Hillage (1976) Electrick Gypsies
Nick Turner (1978) The Hall of Double Truth
Refugee (1974, instrumental) Grand Canyon Suite Part 2
Van der Graaf Generator (1970) Killer
    Smak (1978) Here Alone
Premiata Forneria Marconi (1973) Promenade The Puzzle
Egg (1974) Wring Out the Ground (Loosely Now)
    Robert Wyatt (1974) Sea Song
    National Health (1978) Brujo
Miki Petkovski (instrumental/wordless female vocal, 1979) Illuminacija
    Caravan (1971) Nine Feet Underground

Nice track listing. What genre is it? Can`t connect some of these artists/bands. I started guessing with `country rock` then `Laurel Canyon`...
