Looking for best mastering of the Mark-Almond from the '70s on CD. I got the Best of (Black Sun) on CD and not sure on sound quality here or if inherent within the mix/recording? Can get a bit maxed out to my ears when I play loud. Silver faced German issue 1990 release. Looking at INLINE German CD '85 of first to buy & INLINE German CD '88 of MA II. Discogs has MCA releases as well as 2001 Japan release. Also, it appears INLINE has "reissued" these as there is a 2017 for first album & 2018 for MA II

BTW I have The Golden Age Of Underground Radio with The City on it mastered by Steve. It's great!!!
But, I did notice it's a minute shorter(shows up on PC as 10:31?) than the INLINE German first release says 11:30.Curious about that?

I have the following, no comparisons to other versions so I can't say if these are the best but these do the trick for me.

    The Last & Live Line
    To the Heart One Way
    Tuesday In New York Line
    Other People's Rooms A&M Japan
    Rising Line
    The Best of Mark-Almond Rhino
    73 Line
    Mark-Almond Line
    Mark Almond II Line

I would bet that someone with a good rig can come up with a nd that is better sounding To The Heart than the one way.

What’s so terrible about the sound quality of the One Way CD? I prefer the vinyl but the CD isn’t bad at all.
