Amazon UK have just cancelled my 100th Window order as they are unable to source it :(.

FWIW amazon.fr still has it for 24 February 2017 (and Heligoland on same day)

That's great - thanks for the heads up. Let's see if it materialises. Thankfully I have the original Vinyl Factory issue of Heligoland already.

Never knew they had an album simply called Massive Attack.

As far as I'm aware, their albums are titled Blue Lines, Protection, Mezzanine, 100th Window and Heligoland.

So I've got the Mad Professor "No Protection" on CD ........is the recent vinyl reissue of this worth getting?

Does it outperform the CD? I guess purely from the artwork point of view, having the LP is worth it alone?

The Mezzanine 2LP reissue is fantastic, I had an original pressing of Protection and SIDE A is just too long for vinyl. I go with the CD for Protection, it sounds great.

That's good to hear, as I was considering picking this up. It's less expensive than an original. From listening to original UK cds of all, Mezzanine (the earliest release with the obi and bonus cd) still stands out as the best sounding, passing the acid test on the Celestion SL6si's. 100th Window and Heligoland are good, but have a slight digital harshness and lack of natural sound to them.

Def 33 IMO. I'm sure it will appear on Amazon UK at some stage but that price is quite good.

I've not got an account with Amazon.fr. Any idea what the postage is?

You use the same account, I've ordered from Germany before and works out fine. If you use google chrome it does the translation for you. Postage to UK usually works out around £3-4 at most, and most important of all, no import fee's.

You can just use your UK account/password......No need for any new account.....the postage is very reasonable

amazon.fr have told me that my Heligoland and 100th Window are now delayed to 5 May

They've made incredibly hard work of these reissues, haven't they? it's actually quite comical.

Yeah. Same here. It was always a bit of a long shot expecting Amazon.fr to have something that Amazon.uk did not. The wait goes on. I seem to recall there being a promise of a new album before 2017.

Is this the official release date or not? Same for me, it is very annoying, what's the big deal with the 100th Window reissue?

Great documentary still on iPlayer about the making of 'Blue Lines' - called Unfinished.

Likewise. It's a slog but hopefully the wait will be worth it... eventually. Ironic if a new album actually appears before these reissues finally are issued.
