I've had the "teaser" DVD for years, waiting for this series to appear. Good news.

Got this a couple weeks ago. I've watched 5 of the 7 discs. All play flawlessly. And it's a very good transfer and good audio. I'd always loved this show but hadn't watched it in years, except for a few of the most popular episodes. I like the concept (gamblers travelling the old west, living off their wits, and having a new adventure each week!) and am a big fan of James Garner - I own the complete Rockford Files. And Jack Kelly is great too. If you liike the concept and characters and the actors, this is an outstanding series. I hope they release at least Season 2 in similar quality. Season 2 has some great episodes like Duel at Sundown and Shady Deal at Shady Acres - one of the great episodes of any series, ever.

Lots of popular shows are released in DVD only. We're lucky it was at least released in DVD. And we'll be really lucky if season 2 is released.

    DVD-R?

  11. I havent received my set yet but I believe it's DVD not DVD-R. This isn't Vlu because most the audience that collect older TV shows don't buy Blu.

The other poster is correct. It's normal DVD, not DVD-R. And an official release with excellent transfer and excellent pressing.
