    Very nice.
I've been using Amati Anniversario's the last six years or so with an Ayre front end, photos on my profile. Would really like to hear the Amati's with Mac gear.

You heard right. They absolutely are. I’ve had my current setup for almost three years and it’s the best match I’ve ever had.

We've had pretty much the same setup since 2014. C2300 pre with 1201 mono blocks driving our Olympica IIIs. Taking the big plunge by trading up to the just announced C12000 and going to Macs reference phono stage MDP1100 along with upgrading all my analog interconnects from the Heimdall 2s to Frey 2s

Damn, six months?!?! I bought my 8900 in 2018 and it was a 2 week wait And my dealer loaned me his demo until mine came in. These supply chain issues are terrible.

When I bought my first Mac amp back in 2009 I had to wait a month an a half.
It is never fun to wait for an audio equipment to arrive.

Good gear is worth the wait, especially if you have music and nothing is broken. I am thinning out the herd, used equipment has never been in such high demand.

Was quoted 6 to 8 weeks for a new D1100 a few weeks ago.

6-8 is actually pretty good. I think a lot has to do with the product and is Build of Materials.

I work in the medical field. If you need an exam chair or microscope or pretty much anything it’s a 6 plus month wait. Up to a year depending on product

it’s getting better but some companies that made certain boards, switches, and specialty hardware are no longer in biz or they themselves are having trouble procuring parts

When I ordered a Bryston 3B Cube amp this past July it took over four months to arrive. According to James Tanner it was due to a parts shortage. Get used to it shortages of all kinds will be around for a while.

I see Mac gear on Craigslist all the time could be a regional thing

There is a lot of Mc gear out there used, some at kind of ridiculous prices ifmyou ask me. I was looking to buy a new C22 and coudn't demo or find one so I went in a different direction.

Note there has also been quite a lot of "life is short…" spending as well.

Over the past two years I've upgraded several pieces of my system that I never would have if the past 2.5 years hadn't been a deep analysis of the meanings of life and death.
