McIntosh MC30 filter cap

Filter cap can right next to 5U4 tube socket is original and working in good condition. But a couple of hours later, one of the cans is a bit warm to the touch while the other is cold. Is this supposed to stay cold while MC30 is running, no matter how many hours? As new to the tube world, I'm curious. Thanks for your feedback and advice in advance.

 

If you have two amplifiers and one has a can that is rather cold to the touch, and the other is rather warm, then it stands to reason that the warm one is drawing more current. Both are due replacement at this point, despite only one showing the obvious, outward signs. Just get them both restored and be done with it.
