The first two are awesome, this looks incredible! Going to get this. I cannot wait for Justice!

So cool they included Jason's audition tape.

In! The first two boxes were great and it looks like this one will be just as good. The show on the cassette is Cliff's last show?

Did you just threadcrap your own thread??! lol.

In the future, when people are looking for the "Master Of Puppets" thread, they're not going to find it because it's buried in a "Ride The Lightning" and "Kill 'Em All" thread. I started a new one for you.

Ordered my box set from MetClub. Shipping was $20 through FedEx which I'm ok with. Also picked up the Vans live 3xLP set while I was at it, looks like a good setlist.

Edit - this is the first vinyl I've bought in around 2 months. Probably the last for at least that long, lol taking a break.

So after ordering MOP deluxe i decided it was time to go back and pick up the earlier 2. Picked up RTL first. Am so impressed with the quality of the box and the amount of stuff included. The book is fantastic. The artwork on the LP is a bit crap though. The colouring is all saturated a looks awful compared to my DMM from 87.

I read and reread the Hetfield article, and he does not actually say this.

I'd bet anything the Deluxe Justice has a Remix of the album on it. The 'main' reissue will just be a normal remaster. It would be silly not to release some form of Remix. People will buy it. I won't argue the merits of legacy...just that it would sell...

Quite possible. Except i can see it being included exclusively in the Super Deluxe edition as an incentive to get fans to buy that version. Which will lead to people complaining that it wasn't also included in the more affordable highlights version. I can hear it now... :righton:

Even if that’s what they do, the super deluxe stuff for all 3 remastered albums have so far been available on iTunes etc as individual downloads, so one could easily just buy the remixed tracks that way.

But rather than bury it in the box (if they do indeed include a remix of the album), my guess is that they’d put it on the 3cd version.

I’m listening to the new MOP vinyl now from the box set. I’ve gone back and forth a few times between it and the old MFN 45rpm version.. I’d have to say once volume levels are matched, they sound the same mix wise!

I technically give the edge to the new one as it’s a dead quiet needle drop, so very clean; where the MFN has been pretty well played.. it IS Master of Puppets after all. I might even pick up another bare copy of this release for a backup speaking of which.

Hello people! New here. I have a question. How do I know if I bought the recent masters and not the previous ones. Thanks! :)
