Yes, no real HD, but I mean something like this (7:15), hopefully with some audience in the mix :

Re-designing the site to allow fans who purchase the box to make their own rough mix of Justice lol!! :D their message boards will crash.

Actually, it was recently discovered that it was released on 6th September '88 as I posted above.

How so? There are still the three original guys and the new bass player doesn’t count since there wasn’t a bass player on the original album anyway.

I am talking about quality of performance. One just has to watch and listen to Lars drum playing in 2018 compared to AJFA days to see a sad decline in not only skills, which one can say is to be expected at some point, but more importantly, a lack of, without a better way to say it, balls. Just my opinion of course, but I like my Metallica without a side of soccer moms and 2500 dollar meet and greets. Again, just one former fans opinion.

Blackened '89 was full on Metal, 2018 was Hard Rock. It's slower and tempered. Lars does not break that kind of sweat anymore. This tune, among many others, rely on the drummer. There is a serious lack of double bass drum ferocity

in that 2018 vid guitar riff is all chewed up, and Kirk really butchers the solo XD

AND since this song returned to setlists (somewhere mid-2000s after st anger) they drop part of the solo and then the middle part where guitar/drum accent shifts and then gets back in to the normal flow

    but they are old now

though even in 1989 vid there's a lot of mistakes

I've played drums for around 30 years. if we're being honest, Lars wasn't a great drummer in the 1980's either, but he had a style and was very cool to listen to. he's been an utter trainwreck for the last 20 years.

I've always thought Lars to be the weakest link in Metallica.

I'm thinking we will get an announcement on the contents of the box set in the next week or two, with 9/6 being my precise guess.

Maybe. But Lars takes part in arranging and selecting the riffs, etc., so he has sort of idea of a direction. I would say Hammett is also 'weak'. He plays the lead parts like he is half-assing them, and there was that whole "lost iphone full of riffs" thing.

It would be really cool if settle the credits and finally put out the No Life demo box this fall.Probably not though!
I think they still sound pretty good live. They are never going to be complete beasts like back in the 80`s.I`m pretty sure the Justice box will be as good as Puppets.
The Black Album is about the time I stopped following the music so this is it for me.

Mustaine will not back down and we all know how Lars can be....I don't see a resolution to this matter, egos being what they are.

They just posted a production video on their twitter. Can't seem to post it here.

From the blurry sticker, it looks like it will be 11 CDs, 6 Lps, and 4 DVDs

Looks like seattle 89 may be included in this set? Someone in the twitter reply's had a screenshot of the possible cover on the conveyor belt from the production video
