As I recall from discussions here, $40 isn't really a steal for the MFSL version of Goodbye. Isn't that what it typically goes for or is it just the UDII that goes for $40?

I thought about pulling the trigger on this UDI, but I've bought a slew of Goodbye discs in the past few weeks -- the West German DJM set, the SACD, and the current remastered CD. Plus I've had a US pressing of the old MCA CD set for awhile. I think that's enough for now. Given all the versions I have, should I get the MFSL version?

I've also seen it in the $20's lately. Seems to be down due to the SACD. Don't know why - from the opinions here, the MOFI probably sounds better

With the DJM aside, as I haven't heard it, only if you want the best sound. ;)

Dave and Kayaker, thanks. I haven't listened to the CD layer on the SACD yet, but I like the SACD. The DJM set is quite good, but the SACD is better -- more air, more 3-D, etc.
