Thanks, I picked up a few more that I didn't have and also some Ry Cooder SACD. Also grabbed some Elvis Costello mofi vinyl that was on sale (it has been discounted for some time but I finally ordered some- as I am not so familiar with E. Costello.)

It appears there website is now down - or at least I can't look at it - I wonder if they figure they sold enough on this sale.

Looks like the sale is still on or maybe those items have just had their prices lowered for good. I just wanted to strike fast as a couple of weeks ago Acoustic Sounds had a sale on some of their 45rpm Analogue Productions titles I grabbed one I was interested in and a couple of days later decided to go for another one that I had been on the fence about but the sale had already ended.

 

That's because both stores are clearing, and cleaning their warehouses. I knew these year-long Anniversary sales at AS are going to feature the last few copies of whatever's on sale. Like the Who catalog on Classic Records. Why I bought mine not long after Chad acquired all the Classics.

IIRC a lot of the Dylans have been discounted for months, I'm not sure how much in this "sale" has been discounted recently.

 

With a few exceptions, this is the same clearance stuff at the same price they've had for ages. I do notice that they've sold through a lot of titles.

 

Marshall Crenshaw and Weezer are STILL on clearance. I guess that explains why they did only the one SACD for both. (Though to be fair they did other vinyl-only reissues for Weezer.)

 

A little off topic but Intervention Records did a FANTASTIC expanded LP reissue of Marshall Crenshaw’s Field Day on vinyl that is also on sale on the Intervention Records website. VERY highly recommended, mastered by Kevin Gray and pressed at RTI.

I wish, but no. Not sure why.

 

That's a shame. It's my favourite Dylan album. Anyway, I bought the rest on mono. Musicdirect remain the nicest people on the planet.
