It was halfway decent. I find her voice very odd. Guitar player did his job. Meh..at least she didn’t feel the need to parade around half naked to put something out there

Actually, that could have salvaged the performance...

When the segment, began, after hearing the first few guitar notes, I was enthused.
    And intrigued.

Then I heard the nasally vocal...
And was back on the ground.

Great song, great choice, wrong voice...

After the first 30 seconds, I turned to my wife and was like Whoever is playing guitar is like, “I’ve waited my whole life for this” :D

It's so much of "look at me, and hear me use my voice". I felt nothing from it. If it's possible to "pose" a vocal delivery, she does it well. I've tried other covers she has done also (Joni Mitchell's "The River", "Say Hello To Heaven"). Same thing.

Not a fan of hers, but this sounded fine to me. Nice to see the production put into the from-homeperformance too. Helped it feel like a real SNL episode.

I like Miley best in her unplugged backyard covers. I liked this one a bunch.

    Miley was ok.

However... it could have used that Billy Ray Cyrus Achy Breaky Heart touch.

    RIP Syd Barrett.

It was ok. The song wants to go somewhere but it doesn't lift off.
Not bad for free entertainment, tho.

Yeah, I like Miley Cyrus as a singer but that song is practically a Standard. She didn’t kill it

Liked the guitar very much, good for that guy

Thought she did a nice job. I liked it, didn't love it. Apt choice of material and an appropriate moody piece in among the attempts at virus humor. Well done, steady-rolling guitar guy.

    Best thing on the show.

I'm undecided on this performance. The guitarist played all the right chords and notes, but to me had no "feel." Miley's vocal was decent..... it wasn't overly dramatic, which I appreciate. I think it must be hard to be a celebrity who is asked to do something like this. Inevitably reviews will be mixed. Whatever-It wasn't horrible.

Meh. Her nasal voice is kinda annoying. Like the staging though.

I could have done with out the "nah nahs", but other than that I thought it was great.

I liked it a lot. I am a fan of Miley Cyrus too. Whenever anyone covers someone else's material, I always think they are performing it their way for their fans. Others may become fans by way of a connection to the song they like. That's a good thing. The last thing you want is Miley Cyrus trying to sound like Pink Floyd anyway. She herself is a talent & I appreciate her doing this song in her style. I'm also sure others that know nothing of the Pink Floyd original will seek that one out too so Pink Floyd will benefit as well. My opinion.

Not crazy about the nasal either, but at least she didn't add lyrics like Fred Durst did. I was so angry when I heard that for the first time.
