Anyone else looking forward to this? I didn't know a new one was in the works, but I'm glad to see it will come out soon. Loved all three Despicable Me movies and also really liked the 2015 Minions picture I guess I haven't tired of the little yellow fellers yet.

Interesting that while this has Gru (still voiced by Steve Carell), they aren't using the "Despicable Me" title.

This Minion-ized version of the opening credits for The Office was cute.

I loved the solo minions movie years back. I will have to catch this on Peacock because too much is coming out in theaters for me to catch this.

My only complaint was the crowds. The movie itself was excellent and I even got to see the Avatar 2 preview beforehand.

My little four year old niece went to see this yesterday. It was her very first time in a movie theater. Her parents have been Covid-paranoid, but they finally let grandpa take her to the theater. She loved it, but what ticked me was how impressed she was by the big screen. She had no idea. She said she thought it would be like the TV in her living room. Ha!

Had a good time seeing this last night. The three main minions (Kevin, Stuart, Bob) get a 4th (Otto) and as long as the minions or Gru are on screen, everything is fun. I didn't think the villains were interesting or fun at all, so when it shifts to them, the movie isn't as much fun. The kung fu training with Master Chow (Michelle Yeoh) was fun.

I thought the way Knuckles changed during his friendship with Gru showed great character development. The other villains didn't seem to change much, but Knuckles definitely did.
