Vaguely recognized the name, but had to IMDB her to make sure (she was in The American).

    She's OK, I s'pose :)

And that is exactly the right source ("The American") to have consulted for verification. Well done sir!

Saw it yesterday night in 3D. It may not be the best action movie ever (some twists were pretty predictable), but it is the most ACTIONPACKED movie I've ever seen!
Downside of that is that, for me, that last 15 minutes weren't very suspenseful, really, just one (for me literally) laughable stunt after cliff-hanger after stunt after another narrow escape. Fun stuff, though.
The first ten minutes was a bit of a lens-flare show, but further on it was visually very nice, and the 3d-version has a few nice vertigo-esque moments.
Go see this on the big screen!

The 15 min countdown felt like 30min. The last part when they arrived in Asia definitely dragged a bit. If they had tighten that up with better writing/editing, it would probably be the best movie in the series.

Just seen it the same day as The Meg.
Prefered The Meg 7/10.MI Fallout ( the best MI for car stunts, fight scenes, still don't like Rebecca Ferguson.Thought Vanessa Kirby was good, not enough of her in the film. Tom Cruise looked really old puffy face.
Corny ending. Opening/closing credits could have been more imaginative 6/10

  7. Finally got around to seeing this tonight - not one of the best-ever action films, but a solid thrill ride that does what it needs to overall. I saw the 3D version and it has to be one of the darkest films I've seen, though, and I'm not sure it was intentional - it looked like it was being projected with too dim a bulb in the projector, but I thought that wasn't supposed to be a thing in the digital age. Anyone else have this problem?

Following day I seen Ant man wasp, prefered that to Fall Out(flashlight flares spoiled that one).

Got FALLOUT dvd Henry Cavill stood out. Make a good James Bond. The chase in London ( where Cruise broke his foot ) was the best bit.

Enjoyed Fallout in the cinema - and yes, Henry Cavill should be the next Bond - but Ghost Protocol is not only the best M:I film to date, it's one of the best action films ever... did not expect it to be THAT good, a very pleasant and enjoyable surprise, to be sure.

I'd rather they hand over the directing reins to someone else for the next one... one of the strengths of M:I is how each director brought their own sensibilities to it, keeping it fresh while other action franchises grew stale...

Better than the last Bond outing.

A kick in the teeth would be better than the last Bond outing... and I say that as a lifelong Bond movie fan!!!

But look, even the best action franchises have missteps; 24 had the (largely) awful sixth season, the second M:I film was a dead dog of an action film, and Bond has Spectre... the first two recovered from their stumbles, let's hope 007 does too...

Not anticipating much with Bond 25, 2020 now.

Now we know for sure that they're continuing that wretched ongoing storyline started in Casino Royale for the next film, my enthusiasm has dropped considerably too... but it's only fair we give it a chance and see what they deliver...

Everything’s against it, cast..director..Craig too old ( all imo). And it’s supposed to be out not December 2020, but May 2020(fat chance).
    Original schedule was December 2019.

Release date is February 14th, 2020 and they start shooting in two months... timing-wise, they'll be fine.

Cary Fukanaga is certainly an interesting choice for director, so I'm counting that as a possible positive until proven otherwise... but then, Sam Mendes returning for Spectre seemed a good choice at the time too after the home-run of Skyfall...

Release date 14 months time? :)
Bond always gets a December release date.

The current Mission Impossible movies are better than the current James Bond movies.

If Cruise is still in good enough health to do more, I’ll buy the tickets. Fallout was one of the best visits to the cinema in recent memory, and the series has got better and better with each successive entry.

Guess he could do a couple more back to back then bow out from playing the character.
