Off topic but I was wondering if I can get some help, many here who know the quality of analog sound recommended I buy the MFSL Bob Dylan Desire one step. Well I got it and I seem to be having an issue, I have at the best of my limited knowledge Inner Groove Jitter, what could be causing this? Is my table not setup right? Is my stylus bad?

yes but I feel the vast majority in this community with their super expensive equipment buy these for the sound quality.

 

Perhaps (and most probably). Nevertheless, no one is "doing it wrong", whatever the reasons behind the purchase or non-purchase is. This is all rooted in tastes and preferences.

I called Music Direct, they said I should buy MFSL $2000 phono stage. It optimized reading the second DSD layer and should eliminate my inner groove jitter. Should I try this with the record all the AAA afisionados here recommended me to buy?

People are in this thread clamoring over finding out if it’s DSD 64 or 256 or all analog, and I’m pointing out that the source isn’t gonna tell them anything about the actual product quality. I feel like many apparently aren’t realizing that, so it’s relevant.
