#1531, all sides are okay. Really looking forward to a good listen

Sums up my copy as well. I received #274 without the SRV bonus tracks.

Yea, I can hear it, it's a continuous high pitched whistle sound in the background.

I have #114. Deadwax info will have to get back on. Why do you ask?

Just received 1931 today, well inside the hazard zone. Had to play the first sides before cleaning, just to make sure. I am relieved to report my copy is purebred.

White noise! Takes care of the problem. Of course, it produces a different problem. :-plnktn-:

I dislike my actual SRV UD1S to begin with- the last thing I need is a “bonus” of SRV on my Bill Evans! Lol

Not only did they charge me the increased price on my pre-orders, they also collected sales tax. Which they had never done previously.

    I guess YMMV

I guess having old ears has its advantages occasionally.

The question is, at what price was it when you ordered it? It was $99.99 when I ordered it. I have not checked the price yet, but I assume it'll be the above price.

Well well...that’s exactly what I have been suggesting they do to fix the problem going back three releases ago. Why on earth don’t they just do this going forward...they already have those foam pieces!

I don’t think foam will fit in the box. Seems like they just need a piece of tissue paper between the two jackets. They could do something nice like black tissue with the MoFi logo repeated across it.

I see a lot people buying TWO copies, what's the goal? scalping/reselling for twice the price on eBay?

Just sampled Innervisions and it sounds amazing. I'm familiar with 5 of the songs but had no idea the album is so strong and well recorded. Is it AAA by any chance?

I would order it without hesitation. Great suggestion.

Not to get too off-topic, but isn’t it the case that Stevie has held on to his masters with a tight grip, not even letting Motown/Tamla touch them for reissues? I thought I remember reading that he slipped up once when he (or a staffer) accidentally gave MFSL the original master tapes for Innervisons.

Unless the German website is totally misinformed, it seems to suggest that they are doing both. It will be interesting to see if MFSL follows Analogue Productions lead and releases some classical. I tend to think not since we are not seeing classical titles in the MFSL 33 rpm releases. While embracing jazz, MFSL appears to stay as far away from classical as possible.

Classical would be cool. I know nothing about classical music but I feel like they could sell a lower limited number, 1500-3000 of certain classical titles. Not sure if that's worth the effort to Mofi.
