So, I got an email back from MusicDirect saying pre-orders via email are not possible. Guess I have to get some international credit on my phone.
I need a back-up for my back-up in case it has the wrong LP. Wouldn't want another "Portrait of a Flood" or "Texas Jazz" type switcheroo going down with my back-up of Fragile.
Yeah agreed, they won't last long which is why I hurried and grabbed one this morning. But I thought I'd help out anyone who was still looking.
Music Direct = MFSL Acoustic Sounds = Analogue Productions am I wrong about this? I thought this was fairly common knowledge…
Why do you need a backup? Unless you're a klutz (and in that case, you'd need to buy a backup for every record in your collection that you like), even if you played a record once per week every week, it would probably take 30 years or more to start to wear it out.
**** happens man and I like this album, don't worry why I need a backup. I have a backup of The Nightfly as well because I love the album. Listen, I hate flippers as much I think you do but I buy records for my own enjoyment, period. These are arguably the best versions we'll ever see on vinyl, and that matters to me.
When did it become anyone's business how many MFSL One Step's are purchased? Live and let live...buy one, two, or none.
Music Direct and MFSL both have storefronts though. MFSL will typically only sell what’s still being pressed. Music Direct will sell these and OOP pressings. Both don’t have the same exact stock.
Grabbed one (Fragile) from Acoustic Sounds today. I'm a little surprised this one sold out. I was holding out for a sale like they had on the Dylan one step. I do like this album a lot especially after seeing them live back in 1971? when this album came out. Last good one they made imo. Mark-Almond Band was the opening act and it was a great show.
