just got my shipping notice from music direct!!

 

I immediately clicked the email link and it was already sold out!

Crossing my fingers that my Elusive Disc order will come through!

 

I can't remember who I ordered from.

 

My order was through Bull Moose. Yesterday it said preparing to ship 1/29. Today it says “Should ship around 2/19”. We’ll see I guess. Maybe the only reliable places to preorder MoFi titles is direct from MoFi or Music Direct.

 

I grabbed a copy as soon as I got the email from Mobile Fidelity. Now I see it's sold out. That went fast!

 

Elusive is another option, I had to switch away from MD due to the ridiculous shipping rates to Canada. I have since ordered 4 Mofi titles from Elusive and no issues.

Was your order for the vinyl? If so even MD does not list it now. Looks like a real fast sell out.

 

Well, I preordered the vinyl 45 rpm from Bull Moose on 10/4/20. You’d think that was early enough to get one. At least for now, I think if there’s a MoFi release you really don’t want to risk missing you preorder on day 1, or very early on, from MoFi or Music Direct.

 

I spoke with Elusive Disc and I have this on Pre-order too and they confirmed that I should receive it, T-Rex, Nefertiti, Porgy & Bess, Oh Mercy (already on-hand) and Love & Theft (which went fast as well yesterday at Mofi and Music Direct). I almost ordered a extra copy of the latter but once they confirmed it was hard to buy it again.

 

I found out that I ordered from Elusive Disc. They have sent me emails from 2 different email addresses, which led to my confusion.

 

This was one of my most anticipated releases of the year, yet I slept on it. It's a new world these days with the demand for this stuff!

Learned my lesson and called MD to place the rest of my 2021 preorders by phone.

Lucky for me my local should be getting allocated some Run DMC!

 

I almost missed out on the Johnny Cash release. I have this one on preorder at AS, but will still be on the lookout.

I have some thoughts on this Run DMC vinyl, my order at MD has said shippable for a week now with no movement, anyone else in the same boat?

 

Did they break up the segue between My Adidas and Walk This Way on this?
