From Mojo magazine, issue 302 ('January 2019').

Interesting to compare with the Uncut list of archive releases (see links below). The Kinks are #14 on both lists. Teenage Fanclub's Bandwagonesque ranks #7 on both lists.

Miles & Coltrane seems an obvious omission.

    2018 ain't even over!

I'm expecting Wings 1971-73 to be the winner for me.

Seger, both because of the historical value and because a couple friends worked on it.

Agree. Especially since the other Coltrane album ranked so highly.

No-one seems to like the Imagine box. I, personally, love it.

My favorites are The Beatles' White Album anniversary box set and (which is not on the list) Paul McCartney & Wings - Red Rose Speedway (Archive Collection, Super Deluxe Edition).

I voted for, Various – When the Day Is Done: The Orchestrations of Robert Kirby. It was the only one I bought. I love that English, autumnal, 60s/70s sound.

john lennonist There ONCE was a NOTE, PURE and EASY...

Do either Mojo or Uncut take sound quality into consideration... or just albums / track lists, etc.?
