Their Facebook page posted something that looks like an album cover that has "The Monkees Live" up top and "The Mike & Micky Show" in smaller print at the botttom.

EDIT: which you can see two posts above...

Well those dates are disappointing. So much for the east coast. I'm sure Nez had a lot to do about it. And what happened to the video of the show recorded in Australia?

First date is the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, Canada . . are you KIDDING me!!!!! The Commodore is one of those classic ballrooms celebrating it’s 80th birthday this year. And best of all, located just a few miles from where I type this. Suddenly, I’m really, REALLY excited! Saw the boys at the Orpheum in Los Angeles in June last year (great show), figured that was it for live Monkee dates for me. And now THIS! Too cool.

That's a good setlist. I'm sure I'll love it, even though I was disappointed with the tour. Nez was really off his game. Wonder if they'll "fix" his mistakes.

I was hoping the CD would be from an earlier date in the 2018 tour, before Nez’s surgery. From comments I’ve read it sounds like his “off” nights became more of an issue as his post-surgery dates continued. That said as a committed Nezhead, I know I too will love it . . . fixes and all.

I'm sure that some takes were better than others, assuming the CD will be compiled from more than one night.

"Me and Magdalena" at the Beacon was spellbinding, Nez and Micky at their vocal best. I'd love to see that on the album.

Looks like Nashville is my best bet for catching the show, Biloxi is a possibility but I hear that casino shows are shortened by a good bit. Both locations are about a 5 hr drive for me and I would rather see the longer show if I can.

I hope they dig deeper into their catalog and come up with at least a couple of never done live songs. "Hollywood"and "Down The Highway" could sound really good with the touring band they have these days. Are there any deep Micky tunes left that would be a surprise addition to the set list?

It’s a good tracklist, but no “Good Clean Fun”?? Didn’t they start every show with that?

I know some (lucky) people who have seen the show have mentioned that Nez struggled some woth that song, so maybe that’s why, but there’s a true live rarity that should’ve been included. Disappointing that didn’t make the cut.

I’d argue “Daydream Believer” is not at all essential since neither Mike nor Micky sang it originally, but I suppose the thinking is that casual fans (Is there such a thing as a casual Monkees fan?) will see the hit song as more a selling point than a more obscure song, but I’d argue “Good Clean Fun” is a more fulfilling track, musically, in context of this show. I’d take “Fun” over “Take a Giant Step” too.

Anyhow, that omission aside it’s a great track list. I suppose something had to go to fit on one CD. Oh well.

No, apparently Paul & Ringo will be touring as Pink Floyd...

    Odd isn't it?.. ;)

I think "Good Clean Fun" was pretty consistently a trainwreck, judging from the two shows I went to as well as youtube & audience recordings. In addition to that, it looks like they nixed "Little Bit Me...", "I'll Spend My Life With You", whatever that night's Nez solo song was, and "Sweet Young Thing" (inexcusable!) from the usual setlist. "Tapioca Tundra" is a nice add, though - were all of the '19 live versions the slower take? Hopefully, there'll be some banter left intact. Very psyched for this, regardless.

Are you kidding me!? The version of Giant Step they did in 2018 was one of the highlights of the show. I would have been sadly disappointed if it was left off, but I agree it is very uncool to leave off the opener Good Clean Fun.

The Mike and Micky Show, but incomplete and with poor artwork. I want to be excited about this one, and I've been waiting eagerly for a release, but I just feel underwhelmed.

Yeah, me too. I wouldn’t think “Good Clean Fun” would be that hard for Nez, and the band, to get down but who knows?

Leaving a stomper like “Sweet Young Thing,” also a well known song from the first album and the TV show, off is inexcusable.

It would be cool if any songs cut were offered as a download for CD/vinyl buyers... But this is Rhino we’re talking about. They won’t do anything like that.

This will be a cool album regardless. Instant buy.

No, that song never really did it for me. I always thought it was very bubblegummy, with the cutesy little chimes, and while I get “bubblegum” is how The Monkees were generally regarded that side of them never really appealed to me.

I don’t hate the song. Just not a favorite. The live version you posted here is OK (thanks) but it didn’t really elevate the song for me either. The fiddle player sounded good though.

Compared to “Good Clean Fun” there’s no contest which I prefer. But I get it, if the song just never gelled onstage for whatever reason. Seems like “Fun” should’ve been a great live jam.

I definitely exaggerated by calling it a trainwreck. The arrangement was great - perfect for the band. But given that it was the first song of the show... it was a little underwhelming. Song starts about a minute in - give it a verse and you'll know what I'm talking about.

I enjoyed Take A Giant Step when I saw the show in Denver in 2018 (particularly the middle section.)

90th Birthday for Commodore this year.

First Nesmith Show in this market in 52 years. Only the 2nd "Monkees" show here since the 60's.

Hope getting tickets isn't a hassle for a 950 venue.

Yeah. I've seen fan-made/bootleg art better than that.
