Not sure how it happened but my replacement box from Amazon came in perfect condition. Wow it looks great when it is one piece.

was it packed in a stronger outer box or some layers of bubblewrap?

Obviously it's empty which kept inner 4 spots from getting torn to shreds and weaken the integrity of the display box itself.

Appreciate the post, thanks for sharing!

The box was totally filled with bubble wrap and double boxed. Last time it was just a straight up box in a box. No wrap.

It was a complete resend with the contents. Amazon would not just replace the box. Which is why I was surprised it came perfect.

This is the Remaster from Network on Blu-Ray? Heavy use of DNR...how unfortunate given the Monty Python Remastered visual quality!

No, it’s a BBC in house job. Same to hear about the DNR.

The Python Blu-rays should be the gold standard for how an archival TV show release should be done!

Got my (empty) replacement box today. It arrived packaged identically to the first box and in excellent shape.

Hats off to Network for stepping up and correcting this issue quicker than I could have possibly imagined.

Replacement box arrived. I'm assuming Network will place more thought into future elaborate sets like this.

I've been putting it off due to being very busy at work but I finally got the message sent off to Network.

Hope they still have replacement boxes and I'm not too late.

    Bump.
I’m getting through the set gradually and finally on Series 3, and I see that the Up the Palace/Dad’s Pooves/previews sketch is still missing from the end of that episode (the one that now ends with “One more minute of Monty Python”). I haven’t found it in the bonus materials. Can someone point me to where it is? Thanks!

It's at the end of Series 3, Episode 12 ("A Book At Bedtime").

Thanks — haven’t got to that one yet. I wonder why it’s moved from the Money Programme episode, where it was always shown on PBS.

The official Monty Python YouTube channel has posted a tribute to Terry Jones that includes clips from the newly restored "Flying Circus."

    I really hope so!
With the chances of the “box” packaging making it safely across the world being somewhat slim, the separate seasons are the best option for me

My box was destroyed, but all of the BDs and booklets arrived in perfect condition, so if the box doesn't mean much to you, I say get the complete set.

Didn't somebody say earlier in the thread that the separate seasons would all be released like 2 months apart from eachother?

So my American set arrived today. Third time I've bought these on a digital disc format. Only a few minutes in, but the restoration looks amazing.

A little miffed at the lack of subtitles though. Especially when the R2 DVDs had so many subtitle options I actually wondered if that itself was a joke.

Do they lack timing info like the original crappy DVDs?
