It's an impressive piece, it came in a brown stamped Wings box.
The "W" hangs down giving it a 3-D look, displays really well.
There was so many McCartney promotional items issued during the period,
some were really amazing like the styrofoam display and the neon light. I had most of it at one time, and sold all of it through the years.

"We are called King Crimson"

From Ian McDonald's personal journal dated fifty years ago tonight..
at the very end of the entry he states: "Looks as if we are called King Crimson" .
By the end of the nights rehearsal Greg, Pete, Bob, Ian and Mike had a name.

Quite possibly the apex of my King Crimson collection...
The only first box set signed by all of the original members of the band at the time.
Only Jamie Muir refused to sign .. There was a Goldmine Magazine issue that featured King Crimson & Robert Fripp as the cover story. Fripp held a contest where he asked ten questions about the band. I won the contest! It took about six months for the box to reach all the past and present members. It remains a most cherished piece. Some are gone now.. I count it a privilege to have called them friends.

Great question.. I wondered the same thing, at first I thought it might have been stand ins.
McCoy worked in make-up under the great Perc Westmore.
Betty Delmont was a hair stylist.

Fricking GREAT!~ ...now, I have to ask what if you were born in another time... when possibly there was no .. The Beatles, Bob Dylan, or even King Crimson. Ever. Could you even imagine.. ?

I thank God I was old enough to experience the greatness of Ed Sullivan. I was there, sitting on a brown couch, then the floor in L.A. Sepulveda, CA. .. 9 years old, it changed my life forever. BEATLES FOREVER.
