Had Capitol done a (badly assembled) Close-Up The Beatles 2-record set in 1969 as they did with other "legacy" artists, would they have used this pic for the fold-out cover?

 

I love film in general. I grew up watching Bogart, Cagney, and Edward G, as a kid with my Dad. I have a weakness for the film noir genre. Movies were much better then, better acting, writing..
Today, I like the old De Niro films, Denzel Washington, a few others.

The Beatles ~ "Revolver" RARE Capitol Red Target Label
U.S. Capitol Records .. 12'' LP of ''Revolver'' with the extremely rare red Capitol label with purple target C logo .. This also occurred with The Beatles album "Yesterday And Today''. This happened after the lime green label, an error was made and a small number of red labels were used for a very short period .. Winchester, VA. pressing plant from photo archives.
That is a good looking label!

Yes, .. there's a lot of great (sometimes new to me) rare stuff on that British Pathe' web site. It didn't take long for me to find something. Lots of historical film reports going back near a hundred years.
