:) A little publicity for Thea's new record, released in May. The snippets of songs that she has allowed me to hear from it are very promising, even in the "guide vocal" arrangements...

Another (and there were many) release promoting Bob Dylan's snappily titled "The Bootleg Series Volume 1-3 (Rare and Unreleased) 1961-1991". Bruce may have posted this earlier, so forgive me if this is the case...

Bob Dylan: "Series of Dreams" (Edit). 1991 U.S. single track demonstration CD with double-sided single sheet insert.

Lanois is a favourite of yours too, I think Bruce...

Some studio "paperwork" for that very complex song, "Series of Dreams". Fascinating stuff:-

    George Harrison ~ "I Don't Want To Do It" .. Promotional 12''
U.S. Columbia Records .. 12'' promo single from the film "Porky's Revenge''.
There's two words I never thought I would ever write.. this disc was recently mentioned,
I had posted a blurry stock photo at the time. When I dug out the Lennon's I grabbed it..
The Bob Dylan penned song, apparently given to George sometime in the late 1960's.
He sat on it, and we got it in the mid 1980's .. A great one.

Wouldn't a played copy of this album be rarer than an unplayed copy? The rarest copies are the ones that were played twice.

My point is few people listen to this album, and the few that have didn't do so twice. It's a difficult listen.

I have the Japanese reissue from the late 70s purchased new, I have only played it once or twice when I first brought it so NM. Probably will buy the reissue as I have brought the others in this reissue series.

    U.K. ~ "U.K." Promotional Poster Banner
U.S. Promotional poster for the debut U.K. supergroup LP.
When the first U.S. tour came to Pgh, PA. John Wetton and Eddie Jobson did a promotional in store appearance at Peaches Records. There was a contest giveaway for an incredible (not pictured) black satin promotional banner.. much like the promo poster above. Everyone was given a number on a ticket upon entry. The banner was beautifully signed in silver sharpie by the entire band- John Wetton, Bill Bruford, Allan Holdsworth, and Eddie Jobson. They called my number! I had won the banner, along with getting my Crimson "LTIA" LP cover signed by John Wetton - For some inexplicable reason.. I sold the banner ten years ago. No photographs exist, I have looked everywhere.

I ran out of time on the above post, just as well.. but, man do I regret letting that one go.
John Wetton and Bill Bruford had actually gone to see Robert Fripp wanting to reform Crimson. Fripp said no, which is what prompted this genius rhythm section to move on and form U.K. Wetton grabbed Eddie Jobson away from Zappa, they were friends from playing in Roxy Music. Bruford recruited Holdsworth from his recent work on Bill's first solo album. There it was.. a prog supergroup born.
I just can't help but wonder what could have been had King Crimson reformed then in 1977/78 (?)
Of course, we would get an all new Crimson by 1981.

There was something almost sacred about Fripp, Wetton & Bruford together.
