Thought I’d move this thread ahead 50 years for a second. The debut album from Dua Lipa, purple vinyl, signed Amazon exclusive - £16.99. Her video “New Rules” has as many views as Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do”. A star in the making?

When the new updated Ultimate Edition first came out I ordered it
directly from his web site .. signed first edition could possibly still be
    available Oboogie.

    UPDATE :
Just checked his site out, and it's still listed as available.
    www.andybabiuksfabgear.com .. Enjoy!

Thanks for this - $60 is a bit pricey when it's £26 on Amazon. But signed is tempting...!

A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words... Err,
perhaps I should say this picture is worth several hundreds of
thousands of dollars... well, much more than that!

This is a photo of the case of sealed Livingston Butchers saved by Capitol Records
President Alan Livingston .. 24 LP's were in the case, it was close to a split of Stereo's
and Mono's all perfectly sealed. The case sat in a closet in the home from 1966 till 1986,
when Mr. Livingston gave them all to his son Peter, telling him to "do as you wish with
them". It was Thanksgiving Beatlefest weekend in L.A. - Peter took two Stereo, and two
    Mono copies to the show...

    The rest is collector folklore.

Bob Dylan - "Robert Milkwood Thomas"

On the late great Steve Goodman's 1972 "Somebody Else's Troubles" LP
Dylan did a rare guest appearance on the title track playing piano, and
backing vocals. Credited as Robert Milkwood Thomas .. which of course
was a dead giveaway - Robert Zimmerman took his name from his idol
and poet Dylan Thomas ... Dylan Thomas' famous work "Under The Milkwood"
worked well for Dylan to use as a pseudonym, Robert Milkwood Thomas.

Bryan Ferry - "Tokyo Joe" / "As The World Turns"
    U.S. Atlantic Records 7" 45 commercial single.
One of the occasional times when a non-album, unknown "B" side absolutely
blows the hit side off the vinyl .. Such was the case with this sublimely beautiful,
but sad Bryan Ferry lyric .. song co-written with Eddie Jobson. There is utterly
amazing guitar work done throughout the song .. but, due to this being a quite
unknown, unheard song, most people had no idea... until Robert Fripp takes his
burning solo in the middle. This has to be Ferry's greatest unheralded track.

David Bowie, genuine Ziggy-era autographed gig ticket, August 1972. A rare example of him signing his full name. Sadly, this ticket was badly water-damaged in Hurricane Katrina, but was removed from its original mount and saved for posterity.

David Bowie, handwritten invitation ticket for gig in Hiroshima, Japan, June 1996. This was personally arranged for me by Bowie.

I used to have a beautiful poster for this gig, with a personal message from Bowie in Japanese. One of my great losses in Katrina.
