    Back To The Future
    Mulholland Drive
    Pulp Fiction

All for different reasons, and they all have been analyzed/critiqued to death, but they are still very "unique" films in terms of screenplay and storylines, directing, narrative structure, even to this day. My favorite is Back To The Future, though I liked Pulp Fiction, and enjoyed Mulholland Drive (not my favorite though).

First time I saw it I couldn't make head or tails out of it. Dismissed it.
But ! I got a copy of the graphic novel at the thrift shop and enjoyed it thoroughly.
    Watched the movie again. Brilliant.

Having said that , the book is better.

I'll nominate Peter Greenaway's The Falls. A pseudo documentary about how society becomes obsessed with aviation, ornithology and dreams in the wake of a 'Violent Unexplained Event'.

House, a 1977 movie directed by Nobuhiko Oboyashi. I have a DVD of the movie and one way to answer the question of how to describe the movie is: An episode of Scooby-Doo directed by Mario Bava.

    Here's the trailer:
