@DaBigBadWolf: Don't miss out on the 1988 no-budget, shot-on-videotape movie WOODCHIPPER MASSACRE.

The first Naked Gun! movie has to be one of the most joke-dense movies ever made.

With the added pleasure of watching OJ Simpson get tortured right after the opening credits.

Me, my wife and my 18 yo daughter watched all 3 in one week. It was a first time for my daughter who loved the type of fast humor. One favorite moment for her was Frank having someone die before he got the information and so he asks "who isn't quite dead yet?" and a wounded henchman raises his hand. Weirdly, my wife's favorite scene was the sperm bank scene in 33 1/3. I'm ready for this screwball/slapstick humor to come back. We've done the gritty humor long enough.

So funny! I just rewatched the Enrico Palazzo scene, it really holds up. My son couldn’t stop laughing at Frank hitting things with his car every time he pulls up to a crime scene.

Oddly enough, after my wife and son watched Naked Gun i thought they’d enjoy Airplane! for sure but they thought it was a total snooze…

My favorite of favorite jokes in that movie: Frank Drebbin is looking for evidence in a desk drawer. He yells out "Bingo!"... then pulls a Bingo game card out of the drawer.

I love music. I love comedy. I don’t love This is Spinal Tap. I was bored by it. I know I’m alone in this.

The Program Director at an FM AOR-format radio station I worked at in the 80s didn't even crack a smile.
Of course he's the one who put Loverboy into heavy rotation and didn't know who Eric Burdon was when
he showed up for an interview when the reformed Animals were in town.

    Not alone.
Apparently some of the guys in KISS didn't appreciate it at all. Must have struck too close to home for them.

Paul Lynde couldn't even get KISS to crack a smile on his Halloween special.

    Speaking of Paul Lynde (1926-1982):

PAUL LYNDE's last movie was the live-action 'Wile E. Coyote/Roadrunner' Western comedy THE VILLAIN (1979). AKA: 'Cactus Jack'.

If one is in a silly mood then one might get some chuckles out of "The Villain". Once-in-a-Lifetime cast, anyway!

I like all the pink panthers but the return of the pink panther actually made me laugh the most:
this exchange always cracks me up:
CLOUSEAU -Do I detect something in your voice that says that I am disfavor with you?
DREYFUS- YES! I WISH YOU WERE DEAD!
CLOUSEAU -Well, of course, you are entitled to your opinion.

I could watch "Walk Hard" every night and it would still make me laugh out loud.
There are even more laughs in the extended version. An absolutely brilliant comedy movie.
