I'd pay to have Woody get a beat-down by Calista Flockhart.

Has anyone read UnLunDun by China Miéville? It's the story of a 12-year-old girl that finds her way into a parallel, alternate version of London (Un-London) and runs across all sorts of strange creatures, villains and pitfalls. I've always imagined a film that's visually like a Terry Gilliam version of Harry Potter. Another good one would be The Child Thief by Brom, a very, very dark take on the Peter Pan legend.

    - A film adaptation of Down and Out in Paris and London
    - A film about the Laurel Canyon music scene in the 1960s and early 1970s

Chris from Chicago Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes

Inspired by another thread...I wish the Godfather III existed without Sophia Coppola.

There is the 2002 "Laural Canyon" with Francis McDormand:

...but it's more a setting for a domestic drama. I'd think the best way to approach it would be to focus on the general store at the foot of the canyon.

"History of the World Part II"

"Tourista" - This sequel was promised at the end of the admittedly horrible 80's movie "Making the Grade", with Judd Nelson. Although I'm sure it probably would've been even worse, I was looking forward to it at the time (Hey! Don't judge... I was 14 at the time :p), so I'd be curious to see how it might have turned out.

And finally, not necessarily a sequel, but would've love to have seen another movie co-staring Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin. I thought they were great together in "Midnight Run"... fabulous chemistry.

The only thing I'd like to see Ken do more is a close-up examination of Hemorroids.

A prequel trilogy to Star Wars that fleshed out (and lived up to) the impressions conjured up by Obi Wan's soliloquy about the Old Republic in the 1977 film. Extra points for more practical effects, and inspiration from Kurosawa films and Flash Gordon.

There actually was a third Porky's Movie, "Porky's Revenge". Also, I think the stars were closer to retirement than adolescence when they made it.

Do you think they could edit the three down into a decent telling of the story? You know, without shield surfing elves and falling dwarves? Though the Battle of Five armies looks irredeemably bad.

The only Johnny Depp/Tim Burton collaboration I'd like to see would be a sequel to "Ed Wood", dramatizing Wood's descent into alcoholism and porn.

I think Jan Wahl's The Furious Flycycle and SOS Bobomobile would make fun kid's movies. Either animated or live action.

Kathryn Kurtz' Deryni novels could be adapted to a more family friendly Game of Thrones type series.

The rest of the Chronicles of Narnia. Walden Media did a nice job making the first 3 films. I would have loved to see them tackle "The Magician's Nephew" in particular.
