Report him! I came across an auction from a different seller for an MP3 CD of a Stevie Ray Vaughan concert and reported it to eBay. The seller ran a 1-day auction, and as it didn't sell, he relisted it. It's still on eBay, but I'm hoping that they will get to it today since it's the start of the work week. Perhaps eBay doesn't have the staff on weekends to address such matters?

    Best bets:

    1. If Abkco is listed in Ebay's VeRO program, report the auction to Abkco. (They, or any other label, would be signed up with an Ebay User ID.)

    2. If the label is not listed, try contacting one of the RIAA's addresses, also listed in the VeRO section of Ebay.

Otherwise, since none of us are the copyright owner, we can't really get Ebay to pull the auction. There is no mention of it being a CD-R either; it's listed as "factory sealed." So we can't even knock 'em out on that technicality.

There is a russian website selling MP3-CDs of almost all topselling pop artists and even jazz musicians. The price is usually $10-15 for a CD containing 8-10 albums.

The site claims that these CDs comply with russian copyright laws (produced under licence), which is hard to believe. Selling them in the US or the EU is clearly illegal.
