Brian did an ACDC song with Foo Fighters at that Vaccine Live event that opened the LA Sofi stadium, it aired on network tv. Brian sounded......It minimized my enthusiasm for a future ACDC tour.

  2. I saw him in Portland for Scott McCaughey's benefit. What a night that was!

  3. Listening to him on NPR today, he said he won't be responsible for people gathering together. So that's not a good sign. :/

Tom Waits: last full tour ended in August 2008, last studio album was in 2011, last full live set in October 2013 at Bridge School Benefit, last time onstage at all in 2016.

Not to say he's been inactive: he's been in movies like The Old Man & The Gun, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, The Dead Don't Die and Licorice Pizza, as well as most recently voice acting for an animated series called Ultra City Smiths.

But as far as music, it's been radio silence for a long time and it increasingly feels like he's done. I'd love to be wrong though.

Alex Lifeson is guesting at a Andy Kim XMAS thing in Toronto this week.

I still don't think Alex and Geddy do full shows tours again in any format solo or not.

Rodriguez might try some more 50% singing and 50% talking gigs or he might call it a day. Been a few years since his last full concert. I think some health issues affect mobility and he has some kind of partial blindness.

Other than shows he stays 100% off the radar.

He announced on his website he will no longer do tours and just play shows close to his Cali home.

Understandable given his age and the risk of COVID, but it is a shame as I used to look forward to seeing him at least once a year here in Massachusetts.

Honestly, I would guess Westerberg would no-show rather than pay thousands of dollars for a table.

Bill was on a stage a few years ago:

  15. Golden Earring are done now George Kooymans has been diagnosed with Lou Gherig's disease.

Robert Fripp recently made a statement about no more King Crimson shows. He has said that before, but with most of the band now in their 70s and Gavin Harrison already focussing his attention elsewhere by joining Porcupine Tree it could well be true this time.

Sometimes the label (with the bulk of the catalog) pays to have the band there. And if the artist chosen to do the induction speech is someone impressive, I could see Paul and Chris, and Tommy just saying screw it we are going. Like if they got Keith Richards to do the induction, Paul is so totally there I'm pretty certian.

Bob Mehr and Rhino would probably go halfsies just to make it happen.

It would be Billie Joe Armstrong, bet on it.

    Still feels very un-Paul, though.

I think Pete Townshend would be perfectly happy not to hit the stage again.

God I hope not. We had THIS performance at our Australian Football League Grand Final (like the Super Bowl or FA Cup Final) in 2011 - when supposedly he was in pretty good form.
