    [IMG] My understanding of the interior design of the cabinet - total impregnation and attention to detail. In a word - an investment in the future.

    Creating a DIY column is far from easy, requiring skills, knowledge and financial resources.
    It is possible to achieve incredible results with your own efforts, for example a column for 10K USD from firm with name , you can build it for about 2-3 K. Yes, it is difficult, it requires effort / physical and mental /, but it is worth it - a fact!

    After preprocessing of the internal ribbing I can now start collecting the cabinets;
    Now I can make the exact measurement of the volume.
    And that's 31.5l, just as much as I need! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    A very underestimated moment - work with multilayer MDF material! Always been a problem with the MDF, especially when we have a multilayer construction. I will open an interesting /for me/ topic, the seasonal movement of the MDF material. [IMG]
    You assemble all of details in construction, everything is fine, but after two or three seasons, you can see all details, similar to this item: I show you a German site, that offers such "DIY loudspeakers -cabinet construction" and please, for your attention, they want money for such a product;

    I'll show you what is my solution to this problem, for more than 10 years, everything looks like it was at the beginning. Position start phase of project for the stands, [IMG] on to the rear speakers ;

    Next part - painting with acrylic spray, I need to get an idea of the lines of detail (they are many) and how they will look, with the finish acrylic auto varnish; [IMG]

    After assembling, I make a whale, with MDF waste material and a polyurethane primer to coat the workpiece; [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    This is the "explosive" device with a time delay if no preventive measures are taken ... The layout of multilayer MDF is very well visible, with the lacquering problem only going away in the near future.[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    The measurements were done in a lab, the result was very good, but I decided to change the project - 2 1/2, to a three-band body by releasing one speaker W18EX001 and replacing it with W12CYoo1, the project already looks like this:[IMG]
