This is a show I really miss. Remember cracking up something bad when they covered some movie about killer shrews. And who can forget "Manos: The Hands of Fate"?

It is supposed to be coming back in some form.

I have that one and Mitchell with Joe Don Baker. I liked how they switched Joel and Mike. Worked well and both did well on the Satellite Of Love.

    Oh geez, Manos...

"Every frame of this movie looks like someone's last known photograph" -Joel.

Okay, I'm officially jealous then. :) Did you build him or buy him pre-made?

As notorious as Manos is, I really believe Red Zone Cuba is even worse. Joel was lucky to get away before being subjected to that one.

The quips were an awesome mixture of high art and low. Any series that includes jokes about Santa Claus that reference Truman Capote is pretty much covering the whole spectrum.

I still love the joke about the Dixie Dregs on "Laserblast". Didn't see that one coming. Great show!

I bought him many years ago from a guy who built Servo's, Crow's and Gypsy's

The This Is MST3k documentary really explains why the show works so well

I was debating whether to drop off my teenagers to see Jurassic World this past weekend or to go watch with them, when my daughter said, "We need three heads in front of the screen making jokes! We're Crow and Tom Servo, so you gotta be Joel." I went to the movie with them.

I'm always amazed at how well this show did outside of MN considering that there's a local reference or ten in every episode. I'm not even sure I catch them all, being a transplant here around the time the show was in full swing. Love the show to no end though. Did anybody else tour their production office when it was in a suburban office park outside Minneapolis?

    Turn your crank to Frank!

It must be very satisfying to know you're raising them right.

That is awesome! I'd have bought her a box of candy and a popcorn just for making the reference. LOL!

You mean "heart pumpin', vein-clogging Mitchell" ?

My son, who's 30 and I, now 60, both loved this series. Not a big generational thing for some.

For a birthday present a few years ago he made one of my favorite presents ever: a hard drive with every show in the series. Homemade gifts are the best gifts!

    Push the button, Frank.
