Nadine Shah's fourth album 'Kitchen Sink' is scheduled for release on 5th June 2020. Here a couple of songs from it..

She's really developed as an artist. For anyone not too familiar with her, the second album 'Fast Food' is probably her most accessible to date, but they're all worth hearing. The drummer and co-writer in her band is Ben Hillier. She's previously said that 'Nadine Shah' is a collaboration rather than a solo project. Enjoy listening.

 

Yes, “Stealing Cars” from ‘Fast Food’ is a good way in, but probably the most anthemic thing she’s done. It’s the song that caught my ears, anyway.

As with other artists, it looks like the release date for Nadine Shah's 4th album has also slipped. Now due out on 26th June 2020 according to various online shops.

 

Here's another song from Nadine's forthcoming album (out 26/6). This one is called Buckfast.

She is a wonderful artist. She is more well-known in the U.K., obviously, but America should definitely get on the wagon.

Really enjoying the new album Kitchen Sink. I see that the Quietus have listed it as seventh in their top 100 releases of 2020.

Nearly bought it on vinyl the day , ended up getting the Charlatans between 10th and 11th on clear vinyl . Ill get it soon though

 

With the vinyl I only received a download for 5 songs, anyone else?

 

I think 'Holiday Destination' remains my favourite, but 'Kitchen Sink' will come close to making my top 10 albums of the year.

Fast Food is brilliant. Liked it immediately.
I’ve got all four albums, but that one was my first.
HD was a grower, and I suspect that KS will be also.

 

As Nadine Shah is currently supporting Suede on their tour, I was reminded of this performance of the Mercury Rev song Holes. It's an excellent cover of a great song.

 

She was great in Birmingham, I’d never heard of her, but don’t really follow new music, gonna get the album.

 

She appears to have been very well received by the Suede fans.
Holiday Destination remains my favourite album by her, but I enjoy them all.
