Nagra VPA 845 tubes

Hi,

I recently bought a pair of Nagra VPA mono blocks. They came with 845 PSVANE tubes which I understand are nothing special. Any experience with tube rolling with these amps and what to expect?

I have a Line magnetic 518ia se amp ,based on 845 power tubes.
My came with 845 Psvane, it is a good tube but you can change with better one.
I upgraded first with Psvane Mark2 , not so bright like the stock tube but not to much difference.
I don't know your budget but you can try Psvane Western electric replica , good tube( around 700 US ) pair.
But the best I have tried is Psvane Acme 845, around 1000, 1100 US, but I was reading on other sites the Elrog 845 is better than Acme but more expensive. I think with Acme you will improve the amp. At least in my case yes. Big improvement.
