Clean Willie Haitian Divorce

Agents of the law, luckless pedestrians
I know your out there with rage in your eyes and your megaphones
Plenty more Dan anti heros
Would be glad to see you put one up, but first you need to answer a character before posting one.
Or if a posted one isn't answered in an hour, a new one may be put up.
August West has almost reached the hour limit...
I'm a new member and it took about half an hour before the mods approved my post, so I think it's only fair to give an extension.
Welcome to the forum!
I've seen it there for an hour, oddly I think your earlier one got delayed.
Nevertheless, it will still be left to be answered, but the game will continue with a new character.
Here's a hard one: Molly McDonald
No idea, but sounds Poguesish.
August West is the protagonist of the Grateful Dead's "Wharf Rat."
Lyrics by the late, great Bob Hunter. Fantastic song, but a very sad one. Possibly the saddest they ever did. (Many years later, the Clash did a similar song called "Broadway," but I'm getting off-topic.)
Here is my character: Dull Debbie.
Going to sleep, but please read the original post. I'm trying to get it changed to be clearer.
Only post a character once you've answered the previous one.
Or waited an hour if the previous one goes unanswered.
"The Weight" -- The Band
We are on "Dull Debbie", I believe.
There are two things that kill off a game thread. One is not having enough participation to begin with - nothing much we can do about that. The other is people just ignoring the rules, leading to other players simply getting pissed off and losing interest. This was why the first incarnation of the "Name that tune" game collapsed in a heap, and why the second version had to have rules like losing lots of points for jumping in and not waiting your turn.
Yeah, I see I was acting on misinformation. Sorry about that.
For Norman Mailer...one possibility could be Simon & Garfunkel's "A Simple Desultory Philippic".
The Ballad of Norman Mailer, by the Back Street Zeppelins
MY CHARACTER: <"LOLA">
...which is another of those songs that provide a large number of character possibilities.
Bob Lind - You, Lola, You!
Almost certainly not the song you had in mind.
"Are you Ready To Be Heartbroken?" Lloyd Cole & The Commotions.
Norman Mailer is already solved.
Still on "Daniel Ortega"
I have a suggestion that might make the game easier to follow:
When posting a new character, always quote the previous one, whether you are solving it or not.
For example, someone posts "John Smith" and it goes unsolved for an hour. You then post:
"John Smith" expired.
Next: "Sally Brown".
"Seeing Is Believing" - Mike + The Mechanics
Nope, most certainly not! The correct answer is "Destroyer"!
Separate names with a comma.
