Maybe Adam9 had a different song in mind...

    Yup.
It's a song about a dance so it's very fitting that a ballet icon is in the song.

    Is it "Vogue" by Madonna?

I don't think Nijinsky is in that song, so no.

You're right... lot of names there, though. :) So there's a candidate for the game that I may have destroyed...

Here it is, in case you're interested:

I had forgotten Louis XVI was in the lyrics too, otherwise I would have mentioned him as well.

How about telling us the name of the song and the artist, for us poor sods who have no idea where this line comes from?

    See the first quote.

Edit: @Veltri's line is not in the song.

My comment was a supposedly clever way to say "expired" to the last one.

    Mine is (now more clues):

    Give me Stalin and St-Paul
    Charlie Manson is also mentioned.

But this is expired as well so someone can post a next one.

With those additional clues, it sounds like a Leonard Cohen song.

    Edit: It's "The Future".

Edit: How about "Automatic Slim" for the next one?

On a more serious note, here’s one I don’t think has been done:

    Kennedy
    Khrushchev

    One more name to come.
