'The Dick Van Dyke Show ' sticks out like a sore thumb in your list.
What didn't you like about it? Surely not Mary Tyler Moore .

    I know,
    It does.
    It's not Mary Tyler Moore.
    I like her.
I don't know, I was just never a fan of Dick Van Dyke. I know he's well loved, and very talented..
    He's ok..
Also the humor on the show. Maury Amsterdam's never ending wise cracks, are tiresome.
He's like Alan Alda on MASH. just too much.

I love the Mary Tyler Moore Show.

Watched the first couple episodes of Watchmen, it had nothing to do with the original graphic novel. Definite headscratcher. Not interested in the plot line. Gave up.

  6. I know a guy who works in IT who says he doesn’t find the show funny because it hits too close to home.

Stick with it. It's absolutely based upon the original graphic novel, just a continuation of it. And it does include more than one of the main characters.

My favourite television show of all time.

I didn't mean to single out this post, I just don't see the point of this thread. The list of shows I can get into is much smaller.

This does show just how different peoples tastes can be. Shocking?

not at all. I know the show was incredible and won many awards, and I respect that, it just didn't work for me :)

Haven't seen the series but when I watched the movie I didn't ' get ' it.
Read the graphic novel ( fantastic) and watched the movie again. Got it this time.
