  4. That is without a doubt Astatic. Likely an MF-200, etc. I sold these and this brand at my first Stereo sales job in 1979.

    Ah yes! I had a couple and they made good stylus clones out of Canada. I bet their carts are decent. Their Shure 861eee stylus became coveted when Shute went kaput on that line.

    Their mag carts like that were made in Japan, and I'll guess made by Excel.

    Depends on what part of the vinyl you're playing, I suppose. Stevenson alignment optimized for 7" singles is 5 degrees tilted out from standard, although that is also 5mm back in the slots. The platter curve underneath tells us this tilt and position is not fixing an irregular tonearm length or something though, it is just plain wack.

    Hi I need help.I am looking for Astatic MF100 cartridge.I was suggested Astatic 2503 MF. Seller says that MF100 and 2503 MF the same items just 2503 is earlier mark of MF100. Has anybody heard of it?
