My great room is 28’ x 20’ with an open floor plan that transitions into the kitchen dining area. Plenty of room for the Maggies to breathe. Could have gone with larger 3.7’s, but 1.7’s are big enough.

well i just found a pair of POLK AUDIO R10 a couple of days back for dirt cheap, and, despite their diminutive size, have proven to be the finest sounding speaker system i have ever owned by a wide margin. okay, i'm pretty well sold on POLK products, and their "SDA" design ethos. if entry-level mini-monitors sound this fabulous, serving as L/R Stereo mains, i'd think i'd be wise to hunt myself down a proper full-size pair of POLKs...
Well, you will not have to hunt very far, just go to Audorama and purchase Polk's Flagship cherry or dark midnight black speaker, the LSiM 703, 705 or 707 for 50-67% off, there has never been such a sale on these Polk Speakers. I owned the old SDA-SRS speakers and now both the 703 and LSiM 707 speakers, and if you think the little R10's you purchased for next to nothing sound better than anything you have ever heard, be ready to pass out and fall in the floor over the LSiM 703, 705 or 707 from Audorama, what in the world are you waiting for? Hurry up and give them a charge card number and get a pair or two of the cherry speakers on their way to you, you could have them for the weekend. Let us know when you order them! Then you can use the little R10's for back channel speakers. https://www.adorama.com/l/?searchinfo=polk+audio+lsim703 https://www.adorama.com/l/?searchinfo=polk+audio+lsim705 https://www.adorama.com/l/?searchinfo=polk+audio+lsim707
