Oh come on....that's so much! You must have cheated or have kitchen appliances or a slot car racing set hooked up to your stereo....
Seems luge a good time for an update, new year and all that:- Sony Cambridge AVI Eagletone Engineering L.A.D. Arylic Audio Technica Tisbury Project Accessories are mainly Fisual cables.
LOL! Clearly many of the participants in this thread only mentioned the brands of their primary components @Rachael Bee. They appear to have overlooked essential stuff like cable looms, racking, tonearms, and phono cartridges along with accessories like power conditioners, room acoustic treatments, equipment isolation footers etc. Despite the stereo side of my big rig having only three sources, it is comprised entirely of separate components and many accessory bits which are directly responsible for the overall sound quality I achieve. I simply performed a more thorough accounting of all those bits and pieces. And yet after all that, it occurs to me that I missed a few! PEARL (Perkins Electro-Acoustic Research Labs) makes the accessory tube cooler/dampers placed upon the quad of 12AX7 tubes in my phonostage. And I also failed to mention DIY for the stuff which I either fabricated personally (all the bent wood poly-cylindrical diffusors and broadband absorption panel traps on my walls and ceiling) or designed but had local artisans fabricate (my custom one-of-a-kind welded stainless steel, carbon fiber, and Corian sandbox gear rack).
C'mon, you're probably still forgetting stuff..... I bet you use organic Tiger Paw. Some folks around here rub it on all their equipment....
Well some accessories like my record cleaning machine and accompanying cleaning fluids, record brushes, MC cartridge de-gausser, record player specific lighting, media storage, etc weren't included in my list. They didn't seem appropriate as the aren't directly contributing to audio reproduction @Rachael Bee- LOL!
I know what you mean. I use a declawed Bear Paw to wipe my records and organic Black Rice to dry and condition the LP's. The final step is the Chicken wing bone ceremony to prevent skipping and jumping.... ....damn! Now my secrets are out.
