So I bought a MoFi Studiodeck TT, upgraded from an old Sanyo. We have a Cambridge amp with built in phono stage and Polk indoor speakers, Klipsch outdoor speakers. Since the MoFi has been hooked up we are getting buzz through the speakers. I've tried equipment grounded, not grounded, New interconnects, tried running through a pre amp first (Pro Ject s2 phono box) then to amp, tried running a ground directly to the ground bar inside my electrical panel, still no luck, speakers buzz no matter what. Any other help or suggestions would be awesome, its getting very frustrating, the speakers do not buzz with the old Sanyo TT just with the MoFo Studiodeck, what gives? Is the tone arm faulty in the MoFi? Why don't they do it with the Sanyo?

Is there a cable TV box on the same circuit?

I had the same issue. Disconnect ALL of the cables coming off your box: HDMI, power cable, coax, etc. Then, play your music. If there is no buzz, you need one of these and a short section of cable wire.
