First, my apologies to forum moderators if I put this topic in a wrong place - feel free to move it.
My friend gave it to me to keep or sell (and buy something else). I am thinking sell as already have 2 copies and listen to that album so many times I just cannot any more )).
I have no idea how to grade it.
It is Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon - MFSL 1-017. Well known and praised pressing.
He said it was played may be hald a dozen times.
Side 1 looks great and playes absolutely NM-.
However on side 2 it is ugly and very audible scuff, which results in click last 20-30 seconds of Money and beginning of "Us and Them" til Gilmour start singing and finishing "And after all we're only ordinary men"...
    And the rest is NM-.
Jacket is almost brand new, no rings, cuts, anything..
I am a long time buyer, never got record like this.
As a seller I only sold only sealed or once played records.
    This one puzzles me.
    Pictures inclosed.

Based on that, I'd go with VG but explain in detail like you did that it's only that section that is affected. But yeah, that 2nd side is pretty ugly.

Thank you, that was pretty much my line of thought as well. It is VG, but "with a good twist" )))

  4. The key to grading something like this is transparency, which you've provided in your OP. Good luck!

Sorry, but if I were to sell that at a record swap, I'd stick it in the $3 box; that scuff is too ugly!

Nominally it is VG but value wise pretty low as nobody wants an MFSL with serious flaws (even less than any DSOTM -solid triangle excepted).

I understand it now )). If not sold for least reasonable amount I will just keep it collection as a curiosity. Not my fault and I did not pay for it. )))
