There was a black and white movie that was on TV a couple of weeks ago that I could use the help with.

I don’t remember much of it, but there was a man on the stage holding pan pipes and there was an audience.

I think I saw some of that! It came on right after that other black & white movie with the tapdancing guy.

It was Cyrano de Bergerac from 1950.

  12. I think I saw that one - it also had a guy wearing a shirt who did that thing with the girl, right?

Looking at their schedule, they show a movie on Fri. 1-3PM. What is on the current two-week schedule seems to be public domain features-this Fri.,for example Charade is scheduled,a 1963 film that slipped through to PD status for stupid reasons. I suspect all of the films on CatholicTV are PD.These PD films often show up on You Tube. The channel also has a Facebook page and accepts email from the public.

We learn something new every day. I never knew, or would have dreamed, there was such a thing as "Catholic TV".

How about at least two-EWTN-Eternal Word. Also in Spanish via EWTN Espanol. There is a Jewish channel,Shalom,as well as Muslim based-Bridges,Mormons via BYU,. Southern Baptist,Protestant,"Young Christian"(demograph),Southern Gospel Music, and many labeling themselves as "interdenominational". Big business. Room for Agnostics or atheists? Maybe QVC or HSN,worshiping the Almighty Dollar in trade for goods.

    Good movie.
I particularly like the scene where the guy insults Cyrano's big nose.
